My name is Maria, and I am a 29-year-old wife, stay-at-home mom, homemaker, and home cook. I am a mother of three children, and my family is at the very center of everything I do.

Our home is built around family, faith, hard work, and a love for the simple things in life. I have always believed that some of life's greatest blessings can be found in the ordinary moments: a homemade meal on the table, fresh bread cooling in the kitchen, children gathered around for dinner, and time spent together as a family.

My faith in God is the foundation of our home and my life. I believe He has given us the responsibility to care for our families, appreciate what we have been given, and use those blessings to serve and love others. For me, cooking is one of the ways I can do that.

It is an expression of love.

Our Farm-to-Table Way of Life

For our family, farm-to-table isn't simply a phrase used to describe our food. It is the way we strive to live.

We grow what we can, harvest from our garden, use fresh herbs and ingredients, and make as much as possible from scratch. We raise and care for animals, including our chickens, and we appreciate the work and responsibility that comes with providing food for our family.

There is something incredibly rewarding about walking into the garden, gathering fresh vegetables or herbs, bringing them into the kitchen, and turning them into a meal for the people you love.

That connection between the land, the kitchen, and the table is something I want to share through this cookbook.

Our way of life isn't about having a perfect homestead or doing everything ourselves. It is about learning to appreciate where our food comes from and making the most of what God has provided.

Sometimes that means harvesting something from our own garden.

Sometimes it means using ingredients we already have in the pantry.

Sometimes it means making a loaf of bread instead of buying one.

And sometimes it simply means sitting down together as a family and being grateful for the meal in front of us.

Why I Created This Cookbook

As a stay-at-home mom, much of my life revolves around my family and our home. Cooking isn't something I do only for special occasions. It is part of our everyday life.

I have spent countless hours in my kitchen experimenting with recipes, making meals for my family, baking bread, preserving the things we grow, and figuring out how to turn simple ingredients into something delicious.

Over time, I realized that these recipes weren't just meals.

They were pieces of our life.

They were the meals my children grew up eating. They were the breads made on slow mornings. They were the soups simmering on cold days. They were the recipes made from vegetables gathered from our garden. They were the dinners shared around our table.

And I wanted to share them with you.

I created Homestead Farmhouse Recipes for people who want to reconnect with the kitchen and with the people sitting around their table.

What's Inside

Inside this cookbook, you will find recipes inspired by the way my family cooks and eats at home.

You will find homemade breads and baked goods, including recipes that bring the warmth and comfort of a farmhouse kitchen into your home.

You'll find breakfasts and brunches for slow mornings and family gatherings.

You'll find soups, stews, and comfort foods that are hearty, filling, and made for sharing.

You'll find family-style dinners and main dishes that are practical enough for everyday life but delicious enough to bring everyone back for seconds.

You'll also find garden-inspired and farm-to-table recipes, along with Mexican, Russian, Ukrainian, and other recipes that reflect the kind of food I love bringing into my own kitchen.

Throughout the cookbook, my goal is to keep things approachable. These are recipes for real families and real kitchens.

You don't need expensive equipment.

You don't need fancy ingredients.

And you certainly don't need to be a professional chef.

You just need a willingness to get into the kitchen and make something with your own two hands.

The Heart of Our Home

Being a mother has changed the way I look at food.

When I cook for my family, I am not simply thinking about what tastes good. I think about nourishment. I think about the memories my children will carry with them. I think about the traditions we are creating.

I want my children to remember the smell of bread baking.

I want them to remember helping in the kitchen.

I want them to know where their food comes from.

I want them to understand the value of hard work.

And most importantly, I want them to remember a home where family gathered around the table and gave thanks to God for what we had.

Those are the things that matter to me.

More Time in the Kitchen. More Time at the Table.

Life can become incredibly busy.

Between raising children, caring for a home, tending a garden, taking care of animals, and everything else that comes with family life, it can be easy to rush through meals.

But I believe the kitchen can be a place where we slow down.

Cooking gives us an opportunity to put our phones down, step away from the noise, and focus on the people we love.

It gives us an opportunity to teach our children.

It gives us an opportunity to laugh.

It gives us an opportunity to talk.

And when the food is ready, it gives us a reason to gather around the table.

That is what I hope this cookbook encourages you to do.

Spend more time in the kitchen.Spend more time at the table.Spend more time with your family.

My Hope for You

My hope is that Homestead Farmhouse Recipes becomes more than a collection of recipes sitting on your kitchen shelf.

I hope it becomes something you actually use.

I hope you get flour on the pages.

I hope you make notes in the margins.

I hope your children help you make the recipes.

I hope you discover new favorites.

I hope you use vegetables from your own garden.

I hope you share these meals with neighbors, friends, and family.

And I hope that, somewhere along the way, you discover that cooking from scratch isn't just about making better food.

It's about creating a better rhythm of life.

A life where we appreciate what we have.

A life where we work with our hands.

A life where we make time for the people we love.

A life where we recognize God's blessings, even in the simplest things.

Welcome to Our Table

I am simply a 29-year-old mom who loves her family, loves her home, loves cooking, and loves God.

I am not a professional chef.

I'm a mother who found joy in feeding her family.

I'm a homemaker who believes that there is value in taking care of a home.

I'm a gardener who loves bringing what we grow into the kitchen.

I'm a home cook who believes some of the best meals don't need to be complicated.

And I'm a woman of faith who believes that our homes can be places of love, gratitude, hospitality, and grace.

This cookbook is a little piece of that life.

It is our farm-to-table way of living, our family traditions, our love of cooking, and the recipes that have found their way onto our table.

So pull up a chair.

Come into my kitchen.

Roll up your sleeves.

Let's cook something good.

And when the meal is ready, gather your family around the table, give thanks to God, and enjoy the blessing of being together.

From my home and my kitchen to yours, welcome to Homestead Farmhouse Recipes.

May your kitchen always be warm, your table always have room for one more, and your home always be filled with faith, family, laughter, and the smell of something delicious cooking.

With love,
